Video Description:

On our very first night after leaving Auckland to begin our New Zealand adventure, we stayed at a place called Snell’s Beach. This was our first night out of the city and the start of the real adventure, and therefore, the start of our new van life. There is a small parking lot on the edge of the water that has a few spots where you can camp (we found these spots by using an app called CamperMate which has proved to be invaluable).

In the morning, we woke up to an awesome sunrise and the water in the bay was completely still and like glass. From above you can see down into the water and the different colours of sand and other funky things beneath the water that make some really cool patterns.

The beach was full that morning with people walking their dogs and running. You can also see some birds in the video that weren’t overly fond of my quadcopter.

When you watch the video, make sure that your settings have the quality set to 1080p to get the best quality.
