Video: Driving Across Eglington Flat
Don’t forget to change the setting to HD for the best quality!
Video Description:
There’s a place near Milford Sound called Eglington Flats that you cross on the drive. You leave a thick beech forest and suddenly emerge into a wide valley bottom covered by golden grass. It’s tough to get any perspective on the size and features of the flat from below so I decided to get my quadcopter up higher to get a different perspective.
Hilary drove a section of the road and I followed with the quad to try to keep things interesting. It’s a pretty spectacular valley bottom that’s hard to capture in a video or picture, but hopefully this gives you a bit of perspective. There are so many awesome things to see and do in Milford Sound that it’s hard to capture everything so if you haven’t been already, make sure that you add it to your bucket list!
