DESCRIPTION
The walk up the Narrows of Zion is exceptional. My friend Ryan and I spent a few days exploring Zion and on the first day we ran out of time to check out the narrows. The next day it rained a bit and turned the water a milky brown colour and, while there wasn’t a flash flood danger or anything, it did make navigating the slippery rocks much more difficult.
We only made it a few km’s up the narrows before eventually turning around, but it was an incredible walk with the steep walls of the canyon looming above, and all sorts of shapes and features carved out of the canyon walls from years of erosion.
