DESCRIPTION
My all time favourite view in the Crowsnest Pass comes from this spot, near the top of Mount Ward. You’re able to get Window mountain and Crowsnest Mountain side-by-side, and with the amount of sky in the photo you can get some great night shots or sunrise shots.
It’s a bit of a hike to get here, but if you camp at Window Mountain Lake, it’s only a few hours up in the morning. I was disappointed with the amount of cloud cover for this sunrise. And I aslo remember it being super cold and windy, so that didn’t make it very fun. But being on top of a mountain for sunrise is never a bad thing is it?
