DESCRIPTION
There’s a walk in Glacier National Park, Montana, that takes you to Iceberg Lake. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but there weren’t any icebergs in the lake when we visited. My guess is that it’s one of those time of year kind of things, and since we visited in September after a hot summer, I’m guessing that might explain a few things. Nevertheless, it was still a bit disappointing. I mean, how hard would it be to call it Icebergs from April to June Lake…it’s only a few extra words.
Either way, it’s an awesome hike that takes you by some cool waterfalls, alpine meadows, and some lakes that are the light blue of glacier melt water. Unfortunately, it was super cold and rainy the day that we walked to the lake, so our time at the lake itself was very brief.
