DESCRIPTION
Buildings and architecture are always great for having strict patterns, colour schemes, and uniformity. And while the most impressive architecture is usually massive and looming, I sometimes find that all of these fine details can be lost in the scale of the buildings.
The Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur are a great example of this. While wandering around KLCC, the towers dominate the sky above you and loom over everything. It’s awesome and impressive, but by grabbing a telephoto lens and getting a shot of only a few floors of the tower, you’re able to take in the details and patterns of the building. So even if you need the widest wide angle lens to capture a building in all its glory, don’t forget to capture the details of it with a telephoto.
