DESCRIPTION
Just before leaving New Zealand, Hilary and I made one last circuit of the South Island. We made it up to Nelson to do some mountain biking, then came back down the east coast and saw a few last things that we hadn’t been able to see in our 15 months in the country.
Along the way, we drove through Haast Pass, which is somewhere that we had been often. We stopped in at Thundercreek falls, which I always thought was fairly lame for some reason. But this time I spent more time walking along the edge of the river with my camera and tried a few different shots that I had never tried before. Turns out that Thundercreek falls are way cooler than I had given them credit for before!
