DESCRIPTION
Singapore was the first stop on a 6 week tour through Asia. For a trip like this, Singapore is a great first stop as it gets you into the travel mode with only a small amount of culture shock and confusion that usually comes with travel to a new country. The nice part is that Singapore also has a lot of comforts as well, such as an easy to use transportation system, widely spoken English, and lots of different food options.
One of the nights in Singapore we walk along the edge of the water across the bay from the Gardens by the Bay. There were people running and biking all over the place, and while the path itself was unremarkable, it had the best view across the water to all of the famous structures of Singapore. From left to right you can see the supertree grove, the botanical gardens, the Marina Sands Hotel, and the Museum on the far right.
