DESCRIPTION
Riding into the Sunset – The Ghostrider on Mount Hosmer is an iconic and easily recognizable symbol of Fernie. I’ve tried many times to get a photo of it, but usually with no luck. This past September, I ventured out to try once again and was disappointed when the entire sky clouded over, making the Ghostrider impossible to see. Just as I had given up and was packing up my things, however, one last break of light snuck through the clouds as the sun was about to drop below the horizon and illuminated the perfect spot on Mount Hosmer. The Ghostrider appeared for one final moment, riding off into the sunset, before disappearing again.
