DESCRIPTION
Everyone has seen the photos of Multnomah falls in Oregon (you know, the one with the bridge and such), but how about Latourell falls just down the road? It’s such a cool spot and easy to get to. The water pours off a big cliff with basalt columns covering the face.
You can even walk up and behind the waterfall for an even better view.
Here’s a tip though, if you set your camera up where I did, you’re directly in the spray of the falls. I wasn’t thinking about that instead because instead I was thinking “Holy f***, look at this waterfall” so I didn’t quite catch on to that. This was one of the last photos that turned out before my lens was covered in water.
Luckily, nothing was ruined by the water, so thats the happy part.
