DESCRIPTION

I’ve always been a big fan of cool buildings and architecture, which is part of the reason why Singapore has made it to the top of the list of my favourite cities in the world. The Bay Sands hotel in this photo is probably the most recognizable building is Singapore, and it’s even more impressive in real life when you see it looming above you.

You can even visit the observation deck of the hotel, which is the very left-most tip of the top level of the hotel. It costs a bit, and we didn’t bother, but it would probably be pretty cool to see the city from high up. There’s also an infinity pool on the very top level of the hotel, but it’s only for hotel guests.

Every night, there is a light and fountain show in front of the hotel, and we found that the best place to watch it was from across the bay so that you could take in all of the lights from a distance.
