POW: Into the Blue

After spending 15 months in New Zealand, I’d have to say that one of the things that I really miss is the colour of the water. It seems like every river and lake had a different colour to it and most seemed out of this world. This is Lake Pukaki which gets fed from a bunch of glaciers in Mount Cook National Park which you can see at the far end of the water.

I took this picture at the very end of our trip when we were on our way back to Wanaka after doing one final trip around the South Island. A few hours after this we ended up selling our vehicle and then we were down to only a few days left in the country.

Even though Canada is an awesome place to live and be, I already miss New Zealand and am counting down until the next trip.
