DESCRIPTION
Tonquin Valley is a really cool area in Jasper National Park. I was on a hike with a group of friends for 3 days and two nights, and it was the first time that I had been to this area. We had rain and stormy weather for the majority of the trip and even had snow on the last day.
I took this shot on the second day, however, and when we broke out of the trees to this view, the weather cleared for a couple of hours and we were able to take in the amazing scenery around us for the first time.
Luckily I was towards the front of the group so I was able to jump off of the trail quick to take a few shots of everyone crossing the boardwalk.
