DESCRIPTION
The bugaboos are one of those cool areas that makes you feel lucky to be alive when you’re there. The weather wasn’t great for our trip, but every now and then the fog would part and give you a glimpse of the spires.
The spire that you can see in the picture is Snowpatch Spire, which got its name for obvious reasons. The photo was taken when we were on the way back down from Applebee Campground. There are a bunch of rock staircases built on the trails around the Bugaboos, which makes hiking feel like you’re climbing to Mount Doom or something.
