DESCRIPTION
I’ve lived in Fernie for just over a year now, and one thing that I’ve come to appreciate is that the fall colours here are exceptional. Because Fernie doesn’t get a ton of wind and there are a lot of Tamarack trees, the colours hang around on the side of the mountain slopes forever.
This photo is taken over the west end of Fernie with the first snow on the peaks of the Lizard Range.
