DESCRIPTION
I couldn’t believe how much exploring the areas of Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch reminded me of Petra in Jordan. Not that I’ve ever actually been to Petra, but I would imagine that it would look just like this. With the tall red sandstone walls and that natural arch in the rock which looks like it has been carved into the rock.
I couldn’t get over these canyons all throughout Utah. Even though they were all essentially the same, just red rock, sandy floors, and big tall walls, each canyon was completely different and made for endless exploration.
