DESCRIPTION
One morning, I snuck out bright and early to catch the first light coming up over the peaks in my hometown of the Crowsnest Pass. While I did succeed in that part, what I didn’t succeed in was staying warm.
Sweet baby jesus it was cold. I remember pressing the shutter button on not being able to feel what I was doing at all. The wind and the below zero temperatures were brutal and all that I wanted to do was head up to the pink spots of alpenglow on the mountain to catch the warmth of the rising sun. But then I realized that I could just head back to my car and put the heat on, so I opted for that instead.
