New Presets and Wallpapers added to FREE STUFF
If you haven’t checked out the FREE STUFF page here on Find Away, make sure to head over there now to get..well…you guessed it…some free stuff! You just enter your email quick to get access and you’ll be able to download a bunch of different full resolution desktop pictures, as well as some of my favourite presets that I use to edit my photos. You’ll also get a few emails from yours truly to help you with your photography and other general tips and advice after you enter your email.
The latest batch of desktop pictures include these five:
- The Face of Rock and Snow
- The Web of Steel
- Alpenglow on the Peaks
- Bee in the Lavender
- On Top of the Mountain
The six new presets are:
- Who’s that Lady?
- Poppin’ Them Thangs
- Let’s Get it Started
- Faded Jeans
- Party Mix
- Feel da Paua
To make these presets, I take a certain look that I like in a photo that I’ve edited and then save it as a preset for something to use in the future. I then play around with them over time and tweak and adjust them until I get them so that they give a nice consistent look. The new ones that I’ve added here are ones that I find myself using all the time so I thought I’d pass them along. Lots of times, these just serve as a starting point so that you can quickly see all the directions that you can go with a photo just by hovering over the presets when you’re editing. This usually gets the creative juices flowing and gives you an idea of what you want to do with a photo.
You can then apply the preset that you like and take it from there. Every now and then, a preset will be the perfect fit and won’t even need any further adjustment, but this doesn’t happen often I’ve found.
So again, if you haven’t already, head over to the FREE STUFF page and download yourself some desktop backgrounds and presets!
