My New Professional Website:

Over the past year, I’ve been started a business near my hometown of the Crowsnest Pass offering photography, videography, and web design. I’ve been lucky enough to land some really cool projects, from shooting weddings (including my oldest brother’s), taking photos for local foot races and adventure races (both on my own and helping another photographer) as well as some tourism, commercial, and a few personal projects of my own.

To go along with this, I’ve put up a separate website solely for my professional work and portfolio which means that going forward I will continue to post updates on adventures, travel, and photography right here on Find Away, while my other work will all be on First Light, so feel free to follow along with my projects there as well!

Starting a business and trying to churn up photography, videography, and web design work, while working 4 days a week doing construction in Fernie, and trying to keep up with mountain biking, skiing, travel, and other adventures has left me stretched fairly thin and unfortunately my posting and updating on Find Away has been fairly minimal as of late, so I apologize for that. I do, however, have big plans for Find Away in the future and my adventuring and travel is only getting started, and I can’t wait to share all of my future trips right here! The good news is that I am learning tons every day from starting a business and doing work on a more professional level and which means that I have even more to share and teach if you’re interested. This site is my place to share everything that I know about photography and travel.
