In case you didn’t know, my girlfriend, Hilary, and I recently moved down to New Zealand for a year to work and travel. I’ve made a page where you can keep up to date on all of our adventures and travels over the next year.

I’m planning to continually post new stories and pictures on the page to keep you up to date, and if you ever wondered how to move abroad for a year, this will hopefully give you some insights and answer some of those questions. Otherwise, if you just want to follow along, then I hope that the stories and photos from our trip motivate you to get out and explore your own area of the world.

Our journey started in Auckland, and so far we’ve been traveling for about 3 weeks and have seen so many cool things in New Zealand already. We are nearing the end of our tour of the North Island, and will be carrying on to the South Island soon. This is where we plan to spend the most of our time during our year here, and we are very excited to get that part of our trip started.
